I was lucky enough to snap up a pair of these beauties from Topshop last week before they sold out! At only £28.00, they are very reasonably priced and a major statement piece.
I love how they have a velvet feel and a metallic foil look. I’m saving them to wear for my Christmas day outfit but they keep catching my eye, glistening in my wardrobe whenever I open it, tempting me to wear them. They are so funky and sparkly. I must admit, its taking lots of self-control to save them for Christmas Day.
I think these are a fabulous alternative to a dress or skirt and top combination for the festive season. Despite being rather glitzy, they can also be dressed down with a chunky jumper, oversize t-shirt or tunic.
I’ll be wearing these with a cream chunky jumper and my new Christmas boots for my Christmas day outfit. What will you be wearing this Christmas?

For the girls who can’t afford the gorgeous heart print by Burberry!
I’m in love with this mini heart print blouse new in Topshop this week. Its only £32 and comes in both navy blue and red. This would look gorgeous with skirts, jeans and trousers. I want both!

It’s all about check, hounds-tooth, square, and tartan prints this autumn. I love it! Tartan was all the rage on the catwalk, featured by the likes of Chanel, Moschino, Versace, and Christoher Kane.
I love the punky and grunge vibe, as well as the mix of colours showcased on both the catwalk and high-street. The shops are filling up with lots of different varieties for sale, from mini kilts to the trusted tartan shirt. Despite the punky connotations of tartan, it’s a fashion classic. So you might be able to dig out some old favourites from previous seasons, and work them into this year’s style. If you can afford it though, it’s worth investing in some quality tartan pieces. I’m on the hunt for a gorgeous wee kilt.
I snapped up a pair of cool and funky tartan leggings from Topshop last week, for a mere £25! The colours in the design are great, ranging from white, to bright red and green, making them ultra versatile. I couldn’t wait to show off my new trendy trousers, so I wore them last Friday night for drinks in our house for Jamie’s 30th birthday. I wore them with a long, simple, emerald-green, low v-neck t-shirt from Topshop, with grey and gold slipper pumps from Accesorize. It was such a simple outfit, yet spoke volumes because of the bold tartan print on my legs! I finished off the look with some smudged kohl eyeliner and the trusted MAC Lady Danger on my lips.
