I was amazed by the Burberry Prorsum Autumn/ Winter 2013 collection. It’s ultra feminine and chic with lots of sleek tailoring, luxurious fabrics, and prints. Longer lengths were highlighted with an array of pencil skirts, and dresses. The colours ranged from natural shades of cream, nudes, and browns to vivacious reds, blues and black. Metallic belts featured throughout; they were worn on top of beautiful Macs, Coats, and dresses, which created a simple and tailored, yet elaborate look. Animal prints were all the rage, displayed on many garments from both the women and men’s collections. Mixing prints, and fabrics was also a key theme. I particularly loved the heart-shaped print, which we saw on a beautiful dress, blouse and skirt. Mark my words, I can guarantee the iconic heart print will be imitated by many of the high-street labels. Leather was also featured profoundly throughout the collection, with amazing leather Macs, and Skirts showcased. I absolutely adore the snake-skin red leather jacket – it’s so cool, sexy and stylish. Well done Christopher Bailey, this is so exciting!
Here’s some of my favourites from the collection!
